He shows up in the first paragraph of "To Sail Beyond the Sunset." I think I read that book long ago, but maybe not. Anyway, I went to the half-price book store and bought it.
With the way Heinlein had people jumping around on time lines, it's hard to know what happened to anyone. _________________ Quietly making noise, making noise,

I read enough of "To Sail Beyond the Sunset" (which now that I've seen it I realize I read it long ago) to find out what happened to Pixel, the Cat Who Walks Through Walls (because he doesn't know he can't).
Turn out he also can skip between different timelines, etc....because, of course, he doesn't know he can't.
He survived his injuries, and is a beloved member of the society and the Long families.
Whew.
Time travel paradoxes...what fun! _________________ Quietly making noise, making noise,
