GRAY FOX

Found this beautiful little female by the side of the road one fall and took her home. She was about 7 or 8 months old and except for internal bruises, she was perfect. Southern Rockies east of the continental divide at about 9,700 feet altitude. Took a bunch of pics and the skin went to my daughter.

Made me sad that some people have to drive so damn fast.

And yes, they do have whiskers on their fore-wrists. About 3 each side.
