Right, so I was talking to a rather nice fellow the other night, and in the course of the conversation he referred to us as "The Planet of the Furries" (please hold the Charleton Heston jokes, thank you very much) and asked how we defend ourselves from rowdy outside threats. Well, I began explaining that upon joining, each Mod and Admin is granted Super Powers of some sort, and was about to explain the brilliance of our Stale Waffle cannon and Beer-Launcher when I realized that our little corner of the Universe might well do with a little more protection. As such, I reccommend the creation of a PF Army to protect our borders, secure the Rights spelled out in the User's Agreement, and to utterly destroy Bill, who still owes me twenty bucks from last month. Evil or Very Mad

But the inevitable question arises: what should this army be? Perhaps the Napoleonic model? Undead zombie-commandos? A Legion of Adorable Kittens covered in spikes?

It's time to get your input, folks. You can vote on one of the choices in the Poll and state your reasons why, or you can come up with your own ideas for the Great Furry Army and post them here.

First things first: logistics. Can we get someone competent to run the PF armory? Look what happened when Henry_Hound got his hands on it-- now anyone with a nuke and delusions of competence can go around making huge claims to |337 pwnage. Feh.

Almost voted for Skunky Clone Troopers. Almost. While they would only have to win one victory for the rumors to fly saying "Stay the *&$# away from there!" for PF to be completely safe, the safety would only be from outside threats. Can you imagine hundreds or even thousands of Skunkfox clones milling around with nothing to do? <shudder>

Really, though, Mapper and the Badger Brigade should be able to handle any situation with really big guns and the infamous Badger Signal.
