This may not look like much, but thanks to some custom "modules"
the fur system produces fur significantly better, with better shading, strand detail, and realistic dynamics. But this comes at a cost. I've had to modify the base mesh of Kathy, but this new systems is significantly easier to implement and renders up to nearly 600% faster, if not more.
Here's a picture, a test, a green fur ball in low detail mode.
To get the fur system to do what I wanted took a large amount of time.. 4 days non-stop coding and bitching, cussing and giving the guys at Turbosquid hell >=)
But here it is... finally
