If you want to get really technical they are canines since foxes are part of the canidae family which includes dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes, dingoes and jackals. However, many people subdivide canidae into "foxes" and "true dogs" though this is not scientifically correct. Personally foxes remind me more of cats than dogs.

I think there personally is more canine then feline since pups like to pounce on each other .
