well according to news, MapleStory will continue to be free after beta, the things you will need to pay for are any pets, any special items, things like that.
Everything can be done by a free player, unlike RO and Gunbound, this game is quite fun, though leveling up can be a bit tedious, and be careful of the dreaded horned mushroom...

My main character is Luxo (duh), level 24 Mage. Other characters are: LuxoA and Luxofluxo.
Really cool game. I like it a lot, even when leveling up can be a bitch sometimes.
