Can anybody out there possible give me and idea on for to fix this? I can't seem to be able to play or run an online game of Dawn of War. It's really starting to annoy me. I've tried turning me firewalls off...not something i'm comfortable with...i've even gone and opened the ports it describes in the readme file...but still no luck. I'm running XP SP2, with PC-cillin. anybody got any ideas?

If your router has a DMZ option, try usig that... it disables NAT protectionentirely for one computer, good for direct access, bad for security (make sure and turn it back off when you're done!) _________________ Planetfurry moderator

(Foregive this nooob.)
Chek fore trojans and spy/ad ware that might take upp some bandwith...
If you use a free fire wall, try th free zonealarm firewall instead. _________________ My spelling sux.

no joy on the DMZ option, i'm part of a multi computer network at home, and i'm behind about 3-4 firewalls. soooo, i guess this means i'm just not going to be going online with it. and no, i can't change the router settings, not my router.

Unless you can figure out some way to fly solo, that's the only option I'm afraid... if youdon't change the router settings, nat just blocks it. _________________ Planetfurry moderator
