I've been with Planet furry for a few years now, heh since its early buggy
days, rode out the tough times and enjoyed good times. Unfortunately I'm
finding myself in the situation wherein I am in doubt, concerning my value to
this community...

Judge: What are the charges against the defendant?

PF District Atorny: Ryan Fox is charged with contimplating the desertion of Planet Furry.

Judge: *Looks at the evidence and makes a decision.* I hearby find the defendant, Ryna Fox, guilty as charged. Ryan Fox shall serve the following punishment. Life in Planet Furry's Maximum security Penatentiary without the possibility of parole. Take him away.

*Ryan is dragged out by the guards and taken straight to the pen to serve out his sentance.*

I mean, you serve more use in the community than I sure as hell do... but whatever you do, I give ya my best wishes.

It makes me sad to hear of these things. I don't like to see ANYONE feel that they have to leave. It's not like I'm valuable to the community and I've been yelled at a few times, but I don't let it get me down too much. I just hold fast through the tougher times and find that it usually works out.

Stick around.

Besides, if it's just a few ppl getting on your case for something, no worries. There seems to be ones here who do care.

So, you're suffering from the classic 'Lack of Feedback Syndrome'? I say 'classic' because it happens to every valuable memble of any community. You are so much a part of the community, that you become part of the 'landscape' and furs forget you are there. Its both a compliment and a drawback. The compliment is that you are a basic element of what defines the community - the drawback? You're so rock soild that everyone takes you for granted.

Which is why you need to ask the question, 'Am I valuable?' every once in a while. (Looks at above responses) Hmmm. Yep. I think you're still worth it.
