I have several poems that I would like to share.
Here is two of mine....they coincided with each other...the first one I plan to make into a childrens book some day...hopefully before my wee one gets to old to want to read it.

THE MONSTER UNDER MY BED!

There was once a monster under my bed.
He had three eyes and two noses.
He had two paws with six claws.
He had fur of the color green
When he smiles, it makes me want to scream.
That monster one night decided
that he needed some diced apples.
He crawled from under my bed.
I had the blankets to my head.
He tip toed to the kitchen quiet as a mouse,
not bad for a monster as big as a house,
He found the diced apples in a jar.
He was just about to open it when he heard a car.
HE ran back towards my room.
He fell over the broom.
He crawled into my room, and under my bed.
I still had the blankets over my head.
When my mom opened the door,
The monster was no more.
Mom came in and kissed me goodnight.
I begged for her not to turn out the light.
She said I must be brave and go to sleep.
And told me to count sheep.
So the light went off, I started counting.
Then the monster showed up pouting.
In his hand was a jar of unopened diced apples.
He handed me the jar and said please.
He told me he hated peas.
I handed it back to him with a grin.
He told me he missed his din-din.
He hugged me with all his might.
He showed me that there is nothing wrong with the night.
He talked to me in his monsterest tone.
He even said that I had grown.
And now guess what, I am not afraid of the dark.
But still afraid of a shark.
No more light for me, I have a friend.
The monster under my bed!
So how do you like those apples?

THE MONSTER UNDER MY BED MOVED OUT

It’s terrible! Shocked

This is horrible.
He’s gone!

I don’t believe it
After all this time
He’s gone.
Bags and all.

This isn’t possible.
No Way
I can’t believe it
I thought I was his favorite.

Or was I?
Yeah I know I stepped on his claws
I might have told him that he was ugly.
And I might have said that he looks like a bunny.

But he doesn’t have to be gone.
I don’t know what to do.
I had him to play with,
As he sat in the corner hiding.

I can’t believe this,
I don’t want to believe this.
He moved out.
The Monster Under my Bed Moved out!

Here is another poem.

Lost

I lost my happiness once before.
Never to see the bright light behind that open door.
I kissed many others after you
but none to passionate and true.
My heart skips a beat.
Our love was once torn apart,
But we found out you can't fool your heart.
Now that we are together, nothing can tear us apart.
I lost my happiness once but now I have found you again
