I hate it! Makes my paws all black and dirty, but then why draw with it?
I dunno. Me thinks it's just the way it performs on paper when sketching with a bad paw like mine. Especially if that paw...
Never mind that. I don't think what I'm about to say next is allowed here. I simply 'burnt' it in action.
As for the picture below... it's my third attempt at designing a character for the eager Cateagle. Now I know it's lacking the wire-frame glasses and some other bits and pieces, but hey! It's bound to appear in the final rendition. |

Thanks! But in my eyes it's still far from completed. And lately I haven't had much free time on my paws to do so. (We IT students really suffer physically and mentally.) On top of my degree I'm also studying MSCE and 3D Graphics & Animation (1st year CAD though...) Quite a bit for someone who really dislikes anything that's operated by a virus called Windows!
Anyways... I still need to color the damn thing! And that PF logo I'm working on seriously needs my attention. It's still in the pencil stages, but it's a start at least.
Currently on paper and in rough is my first attempt at drawing MBR's ZigZag.
As for the charcoal... At five bucks a pencil, it makes a rather expensive BBQ. |

I agree with Dave, it looks cool. Take your time with it, though, to get it the way you feel it should be. I'll just use the same pic as my AIM Buddy Icon until you're ready.
Regards,

Whoa! I did this? Believe it or not, this is Evan's Cateagle.
It still needs a background and a foreground though. But it's a start and a good un too.

A very good'un indeed. I like the look you gave me, Ryan.
Very appreciatively,
