Didn't they record the board meeting when James resigned as CEO of SCS. If they did wouldn't this be a perfect time for Marcus to strike at James because things didn't go his way. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

Not likely. There was nothing in the meeting that could be considered criminal activity by James. On the other hand, it would have pointed a finger at Marcus. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

True but this is Kahnsman we're talking about, He'd probably twist the facts around until they didn't know which way to point and then point them at James. Oh well it was just a wild guess anyways. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

Actually, I'm wondering if Khansman is going to find out and make use of James' speeding ticket. I mean...it could just be that a ticket is just a ticket (thank you, Sigmund Freud!), but then again...how many of us would put it past OBA (our beloved author) to slip that in, only to have it come back and bite us (and James) in the tail 3 or 4 chapters later?
Dang it, Hikaru....stop messing with my mind!!!! _________________ Hortmage, the Magic Gardener

I believe that Kahnsman will find out about the ticket but I seriously doubt that he'll have any real use for it unless James doesn't pay and doesn't show up in court. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

For some unapparent reason my mind keeps telling me that the tape is recording of Arden's council sessions and that bound manuscript is the book that Arden gave to that doctor.
Just out of interest..... has anyone here actually ever guessed right about something that was going to happen in the story? _________________ Text is void if truth is not written, text above this note is void. |

I do know humans are nothing but fantasy creatures in this world. Like I said, for some unapparent reason. _________________ Text is void if truth is not written, text above this note is void. |

Not that I know of. Some have gotten close and some of the speculation has given Hikaru some evil twisted ideas but I don't know of anyone that actually guesed what he was going to do with the story. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

I seem to recall that somewhere back in Act II, Arden had a vision that revealed that Khansman touched the mark on Arden's hand that had been left by the amulet, and as a result became subject to the influence of Lakash, who then tried to use him to kill Shiela (though to his own mind, Khansman was trying to kill Arden and wasn't really aware that Shiela was the real target).
Now that Shiela is alive and back in this world, could this come into play again? _________________ mwalimu

Actually, they've come pretty close, but haven't hit the mark yet.
I had someone speculate today (in person) and hit the nail on the head, but I didn't say anything.

Lakash has been defocked. Probably not. But you never know.

I always figured you wouldn't say anything if someone was right, but I don't mind. It ruins the suprise if you do.
And couldn't Lakash's influence be fairly long lasting as in maybe oh a few years or until Khansman dies a very painful death, at least I hope it would be a very painful death. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

He needs to suffer the same media-*beep* that ZZ has been through! (as in, he will/should be exposed, not killed) |
How about he gets exposed, goes through the media circus that would be even bigger than Zig's as he was supposed to up hold the law not break it. Then after he gets convicted and sent to prison he runs into someone he put behind bars and they kill him. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.
