Greetings!
I have heaps of fun stuff, and have now decided to share some of it with you all...
(I just found my digital camera...)
First off:
I trust everyone reads ZZtS and is familiar with the 'Entertainment console' James Sheppard made for his friends, right?
Mine isn't that nicely made, but there's a lot more entertainment in mine...
Can anyone name everything?
(Just the two towers, don't bother with what's on the top shelf above the TV) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Hmmm, that thing at the bottom left looks like the game console made by Phillips, back at the beginning of the 80s.
Hmmm, ours may still be in a box at the back of some stack somewhere. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Correct. It's a Philips G7000 system.
Anything else?
(There's another Philips in there if you can spot it, and a whole lot of more 'mainstream' stuff, too) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

I only know that one because we had it. We did not have any other game consoles and I was never very much interested in them. One of my friends had the G7000 as well, but I can't remember ever playing with one of the other consoles. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

The DC is correct, and yes, it's under a N64...
Trust me, the GC works OK.
What made you think it didn't work?
(All the consoles and stuff on this image works) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Yes, the one at the top is a SNES.
The one directly to the right of the TV is a Sony PS, but...
Can you spot the other one?
(That's a tricky one... but yes, I have two... ) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Middle left?
Is that 'in the middle of the left tower', or?
(If so, no cigar, as that's a 'Play Creation' machine which takes Nintendo 8-bit cartridges... ) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Since no one is guessing any more, here's the list:
Left tower, from the top down:
Atari 7800
Atari 2600
APF TV-Fun
Spectravideo 326
Play Creation
Sega MegaDrive II
Philips CD-i 450
Philips G7000
Right tower:
Nintendo SNES
Nintendo 8-bit (NES)
Nintendo N64
Sega Master System II
Sega MegaDrive
Sony PlayStation
Atari XE
The small shelves above the TV contains a Nintendo GameCube(to the right) and a Sony PSOne.(with a portable LCD screen)
On the top shelf you can see:
GBA-TV adapter.
Shen Qi Wei minature RC car
A partially painted Sabrina figure
A Ravensburger Puzzle-ball
some junk
and a metal sculpture my sister gave me. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Another poor quality picture...
This time it's a shot of my TV set.
The local cable company have reserved a channel as some sort of 'infochannel' where they're supposed to give us news and channelguides and such stuff. eedless to say, I don't check it daily.
The pickure was taken on sunday, but a colleague of mine tells me that it has been the same for at least two weeks... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Not really a geeky picture, but...
It's the lid of a box of chocolate-covered dairy ice-creams.
And yes, the name really is Pin-up...
When the ice was introduced in 1950, it was named something like 'Chocolate ice-cream'(translated), but soon after, this picture was used in an ad, together with the line 'we have the ideal figure'(sexist as h*ck, but who cared back then)
One thing led to another, and it's still one of the bestsellers more than 50 years later... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

When I came home from work today there was a package waiting for me...
I unwrapped it to find Love Hina DVD 1. (Moving in...) and as could be expected of me, I skipped all thoughts of dinner and popped the disc into the player...
That's when I got the nasty screen you can see below...
So... My Region free player wouldn't accept a Region 1 DVD...
To console myself I dug out the Tenchi Muyo OVA set and popped the first DVD into the player...
And got THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE!
A frantic test of most of my Anime DVD's and a few non-anime discs, even a power-off(unplugged for 10 minutes) didn't help...
Goodbye Toshiba, you'll be sorely missed... particularly as I won't be able to afford a new player until the middle of june... _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"
