It's gone and I didn't even noticed... and usually that only happens with other people's birthdays.
Okay, it's been unusual occasion with me being away from everybody else on my birthday but still... my dad didn't have time to pic me up at the trainstation, the friend who I got to pick me up instead had forgotten about it, by brothers were not home and my mom wasn't even in the country.
Oh, sure, I got some congratulations and also gifts and this time even some I asked for, not to mention the great pics Mapper did for me.
Still, somehow it just passed and was gone. No celebrations of any kind. No relatives visiting, no big dinner, not even a birthday cake.
I'm not one of these guys who need such things to build up is ego and I'm certainly not someone who likes parties but still... it's something I'm used to and it's not there... As far as that is concerned, I didn't have had a birthday this year...
But maybe that's just as well. I've been clinging to this silly tradition for all my life and I guess it's time to let go of it.
All the Best to everyfur out there. I hope you had to good time. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Its never a silly tradition. I don't know how many times I've been away from home during My b-day. as long as one person, it doesn't matter who reminds me of that day then Im happy.
we always take things for granted till they are gone.
Cheer up and enjoy the day for it is another day of being alive. _________________
