At last look, the forum on ZZ wasn't even linked anymore. I doubt James will re-establish it until he starts putting chapters or artwork up again.

Question for TM:
d'you know if James is doing any writing, other than Resumes and Job Applications? _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

Karou, he said his job search is a 8 hour a day, 5 day a week thing right now, so no, I don't believe he's doing any other writing. Once RL stops jerking him around, it'll probably take him a little bit to get back in the groove again.

TM | I know that routine, TM, for I'm in it myself.
Here's hoping 2009 is better than 2008. _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

If so, hopefully the previous threads there were archived and can be restored.

As we get closer, my presence online may be a bit sporadic, so I want to take the time now to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
May God bless you all.

May the new year bring many pleasant surprises for everyone, and may the new year be better than the one we are rapidly leaving. _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

Tigermark is weathering the storm, it seems. I received this message from him this morning:
Quote: | Hey, wanted to let you and the furry community know that everyone at the Tiger's den is alive and well. We lost power due to a tree limb taking our powerline and cable out in the ice storm, but otherwise we're fine. |
Fare thee well, Tigermark. We look forward to your imminent return!

From what I've read about conditions there, you'll need to balance Stripes One on her tail and go over your property to get thawed out!!

I just got off the telephone with Tigermark. After several days without, their power was restored yesterday. Internet access may be a few more days coming, so he's still "in the dark" after a fashion. I can only imagine how the tinx must be suffering without the internet ... almost as badly as the ol' tiger himself!
He and his family have kept busy, even with schools and his job temporarily closed as folks clean up and get power and systems back on line. TM works with the weather spotters, an organization he is much more capable of explaining than i am, but with which his entire family has been involved in emergency response and recovery efforts.
They were all together at home this evening, and everyone is fine, according to him.
The next storm is scheduled to arrive at the Tiger's Den Sunday ...

Hello everyone. the Tiger's den survived the ice, power outage, and internet and cable TV outage just fine.Got power back late Friday, and internet and cable back Saturday evening. All here are fine.our county didn't get hit as hard as those to our north and west. Tomorrow morning the EMS folks (That includes me,as our Weather Spotters team is under our county Emergency Services) are starting a house by house check to make sure everyone is okay and not in dire straits. Power is still off in some northern sections of the county, and some roads are still partially blocked by downed trees/limbs and powerlines. Clean up may take awhile, as over 400 power poles need to be replaced just in this county.
Anyway,I'm back in cyberspace for now. Talk to y'allsoon.
