With your alls permissions I would like to try and enter the story line in "To sing his own praises"
I am planning on entering with a Lynx Ranger/thief Named Derick Devenwood. He will be of Chaotic Good Alignment with a sort of Robin Hood look on life. I do not mean the flashy sort of thing Robin Hood did, I mean more along the lines of redistributing the wealth of mean cruel and snooty nobles to those people that need it and helping those in need as a mater of fact he will not claim and glory for his "good" acts he would prefer total anonymity. Derick is a stealth individual with a dislike for muggers and bullies. Derick’s primary weapons will be two short swords followed by bows, claws, thrown daggers and quarter staff, when he is trying not to be lethal. Derick has one nonstandard ability and that is a danger sense or intuition not 100% reliable but some times he just knows he is about to be attacked or which doe to choose.
Dericks magic equipment will be primarily his two Named short swords “Spell Breaker” and “Devils Guard”. Spell breaker In D&D terms a +3 holy short that can dispel and deflect magic spells. Spell Breaker must be touched to something or someone for her to dispel it and can only deflect spells thrown at her or her wielder. She is also a telepathic ego weapon and gives Derick some mental protection and an extra set of eyes to notice things and she can see magic. Spell Breaker is of Lawful Good alignment and often voices her disagreement with many things derrick does.
Devils Guard in D&D terms he is a +4 defender devils and demons Bain short sword. Devils Bain is also a telepathic ego weapon and gives Derick some mental protection and an extra set of eyes to notice things and he has several special powers that really only come into effect when fighting a devil or demon he can also detect any demon or devil with in thirty feet. He is of Chaotic Good alignment and gets along well with Derick, but wishes Derick would seek out more devils and demons to kill.
Other magic equipment is a cloak of concealment, boots of stealth and a backpack of holding
He also usually wears studded leather armor enameled flat black.
Please let me know if I can try to fit him into the story.

Booyah... staying in D&D terms, based on the quality of his items, I'd say his character level should be around 11, roughly halfway between Ellani's and what I estimate to be Thadamaeus' level (the badger having the higher level).
Now to the point, do you have a general idea when, where or how you plan to have Derick enter the story? Note that you are under no obligation to tie his story in with someone else's.
If so, could you PM it to me, and preferably to Josh as well, so we can give it a lookover?

After having seen Shirh khan's descripion of Toberaan I felt my descripion of Derick was lacking so using Shirh Khan's format up dated the in story description of Derick.
I also though this would be a good place to put what we think out D&D stats of our characters are
Derick
Str=16
Dex=20
Con=14
Int=10
wis=18
Cha=14
He is a 5th Level Ranger 3rd level rouge at the time he enters Clu'mer

Well, while this is certainly an... AH... "exciting" read, I think you are stretching the PG-13 limit of the board a little...
Don't stop on my account, though... _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Concerns duly noted, and my last entry has been adjusted (meaning, a little toned down). _________________ Lt. Stacey 'Target, lock, KILL' Fluffybun reporting.

Indeed! For I am the master of skirting the line! Many a time have I leaped to the line and then stopped just at its limit so that I could mock it and its ancestry! I am the Line Master!
And for goodness' sake, man! Put your pants back on!

HA! You are toying with forces you do not understand, my friend
Fortunately I am the master of skirting the line, the King of Innuendo, the Ruler of 'Almost-Too-Naughty-But-Not-Quite-So-It-Still-Counts-as-PG-13' and Lord of the Dance!
... well, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea
Anyway, just show me what ya' got and I'll show you the proper way to 'dress it up' _________________ Founder, Co-Founder, Newscaster and President-For-Life of Planetfurry News Network, a subsidiary of Planetfurry Corporation.

Okay... time for your medicine Mr. Fox...
Serious now, what I have right now is... a blank, so I doubt there'll be much dressing up that can be done, if any. This is most likely due to the strange way my processing unit works, or maybe because of a complete, and utter lack of inspiration, I'm not sure.
To make matters short, there is nothing you can do to 'dress it up', because there's nothing to 'dress up'. _________________ Lt. Stacey 'Target, lock, KILL' Fluffybun reporting.

That was certainly an interesting twist to what happened to Ellani's tribe.
Thanks, Josh... for making me even lazier than I already am. _________________ Lt. Stacey 'Target, lock, KILL' Fluffybun reporting.

Josh, your lovely feline wants to see you.
*Josh bounds away, leaving BlackDragon without cover*
Hello BlackDragon, sorry for not giving you a proper boardwise greeting earlier. Enjoy your stay, and don't worry about anyone, we're all nice here.

Your character are not bad other than the few points I have already asked you about.
My problem I would have to say is your writing pattern or stile. I have to reread what you write at least twice usualy to understand it. I think it needs a few more breaks in it, you trying to cram too many thoughts and ideas right after each other.
My thoughts for the moment
