As of 9/16/03, fernandogutierrez.net will be shut down. The ISP it is being hosted on is going under, and offically die on that date. I will have to find another co-lo for my elfen server (mod'd Motorola StarMax 5000 w/G3 @ 350 MHz; runs like a 1GHz but only because its running NetBSD without X-windows and other fancy stuff.), but until then, it will be down.
Besides my site; fernandogutierrez.net, accidentalcomics.com will be shut down, as will as all the personal sites and all email accounts on the server. They will be preserved until I get a new colo for the server. Other than that, I'm sadden by the whole affair. But its proof that idiots cant run a business when they make promises and constantly break them.
Thanx to them, I lost a lot of time and money (over $10 grand in lost city program contracts alone, more for other programs.), and had major headaches over it. Now I know better. Next time I'll use the ancient technique of I-Su.
When it gets up again, it will be better than ever. The matter is when... which is currently unknow. |
