In the last couple of weeks I've gotten out a first draft of about half of the next chapter. I'm thinking of continuing in this manner until I have about three chapters worth of material roughed out, which means it will take longer to get the next chapter out but greatly improves the chances that I'll get the following chapters out soon afterwards. _________________ mwalimu

Just curious. If any thing I'm patient. It's nice to know that it wasn't abandoned, and that the story will continue. _________________ Beware the light at the end of the tunnel, just might be the headlights of my speeding truck. =0.0.=

Just finished reading all 7 Chapters. Excellent story mwalimu! And excellent writing as well.
I can't wait to see more chapters. It's great to see that you're keeping it alive. _________________ "First rule in government spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price?" ~S.R. Hadden |

Thank you. I'm trying to make at least a little bit of progress on it every day. Good to hear that people are still reading it. _________________ mwalimu

That's good to hear, that you're still working on it. I like the writing style. It flows well with SOtS. Obviously the latest Chapters of SOtS skew things for your story though, don't they? I eagerly await more. _________________ "First rule in government spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price?" ~S.R. Hadden |

I have read it, and enjoyed it a lot. And re-read it. More than once, wishing for more chapters. I'm very happy to learn that the story will continue, and I will wait. Tapping my foot, perhaps, but I will wait.

I'll have an updated version for you before you post it. The copy I sent last night was missing some proofreading edits I had made but didn't realize until too late I hadn't saved the file yet. That of course is in addition to whatever you guys come up with. _________________ mwalimu

Talk about good timing!
I just reread the first seven chapters and came over here to see where things were standing, and I discover that I'm days away from the next chapter!
Thanks for taking up your mighty pen again - I can't wait to see how you finish this story.

Wonderful! I've been waiting for a new chapter for w-a-a-a-a-y too long. To make it even better, it's a great chapter. Hopefully the wait for the next one won't be quite so long... *thumbs up*

I second that.
So...
Clarence stocked up on carrots before he left?
And here I thought he didn't like carrots...
(In another story about Clarence & Cindy, at her parents' house, he is given a carrot-stick which he smuggles into his pocket instead of eating... )
Thanks for the glance into his past, too. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Chapter 8 is now up on my website. It has of course been available on The Raccoon's Bookshelf for a couple of days.
As for the carrots, maybe Clarence likes them too. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure what RL skunks like to eat. _________________ mwalimu
