well, possibly, but if thats your style, go fur it... remember that we won't be the judges alone, the feedback each story gets will help decide which story/pic wins.
Hope that helps clear up your inquiry. _________________ [Citation Needed] |

This is a re-work of a crazy cat type I did a while back. Just wondering if I'm in the ballpark here or does it have to be a scene where I'm doing some serious hacking?

Hehe, that's exactly what I meant with "not posting the entries openly yet"
The ones who are less able will give up right away when those who are of superior abilities post their work.
If Concolor would post a story entry here I wouldn't bother writing one of my own because I could see how much better his work is than mine. If I don't see what he is doing I still have the faint hope that I can produce something that can compare to it or perhaps that he won't take part at all. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Still this is all for fun so it wouldn't matter if you were a good artist/writer its still good to add your entry, even if someone with more experience has done so. |

I agree with maxx and formally withdraw my entry. Hehe. BUT!!! At least is gives you guys sommat of an idea of what to do here! Big, guys with sharp impliments. Gals with both sharp and round impliments. Ya know, Frank Frazetta type stuff. Or maybe Druid types surrounded by rune stones.
So, since I'm outta the running (don worry folks. I ain't gonna starve) let's see some of your stuff!
I may throw in another pic or two for fun, but I don't want to be the only one doing it. Ya hear!?

I don't know how to draw, but I figure I have until September to learn, so... _________________ Throw me to the wolves because there's order in the pack,

*grin* I'll be working on a story to enter here, complete with muscular Viking fighter with axe, sword, and knife. The working title is New Destiny. I'll not say anything more 'cept that I'll be looking forward to reading my competition. There are enough good writers here (yes, you too, Tygon) that it should be an enjoyable competition.
Cheers,

Already started working on one.
Reading this thread gave me some really silly ideas on things to do with Vikings...
Have not really got a proper title yet (am calling it "Vikings" at the moment).
Anyway the main character is a vixen... _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |
