Personally, i know this is nuts but still I love it, I get down to shake a tail feather from the Blues Brothers soundtrack because it's got every awesome dance in it. Oh yeah I'm an old, young, hipster to the blues but what do you guys like?

I like classical but I can't dance to it. I mean how do you dance to bach and betoven.

Nothing is wrong with classic... though it is best played when trying to relax on a good stereo...

Dancing however is best done to something fast... that way you don't look like such a fool if you can't dance Wink

You can slowdance to many classical pieces, and ballroom style.

Not that I can dance.

I put rock - but really I like anything (including classical).

As long as it's original & not some poppy marketing cash-in, I'll probably enjoy it. For dancing, you can't beat some classic funk/ska/or breakbeat, or some good alt/rock/metal.

Lately, I've been getting into Grandaddy, the Flming Lips and Nitin Sahwney (sp?)

But I put down Rap. I like Eminem,JayZ,Nas,Common,50cent,D-12
And I also really like Rock. I like Linkin Park,Staind,POD,Puddle of mud+more.

I don't dance, either. Well, the occassional slow dance with my wife, but that's it.

As for music...my favorite wasn't listed. Sad

I like Celtic music. Something noone else in the family can stand, but sod them!

I like the traditional Irish music, like the Irish Rovers, Clancy Brothers, and Cherish the Ladies. I've also got the entire Clannad and Loreena McKennit collections.

For more of an Irish/Rock, I enjoy Tempest and Steeleye Span.

Any other Celtophiles out there?
