We had about two inches of snow today, might get a bit more on Tuesday. Currently 27° at 2340 hrs EST here in Central Indiana.
My wife and youngest daughter's first white fall. The wife is already hating it, the daughter is digging the white stuff on everything. It's not sticking to the street or sidewalks, but the cold temps might fix that. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

I LOVE snow. Yeah, it comes with some challenges, but it is so peaceful and beautiful... until cars make it into muddy slush.
I think a lot of us grow up to focus exclusively on the negative and we lose sight of what makes snow so great, or even rainy days for that matter.
Personally, I get sick of bright sunny days much faster. In fact, the sun can ruin snow immediately by blinding you.
Give me that gorgeous blue-gray sky please.
I like rainy summers and snowy winters. I love gloomy overcast autumns too. Sure, sunny days have their place and I do love them in moderation, but it gets bland if it never changes.
Conversely, I prefer clear nights over weathery nights. _________________ AKA Skoon

Um, no salt here, please. It plays hell with hardwood floors that have old finishes on them. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |
