Kelvin, such videos exist on YouTube. But IMO a few problems.

First, gotta have a virtual machine setup as a honeypot and ready to roll. 'Cause you don't want those scumbags sniffin' around inside your real machine. And ready to roll because you don't have time to set it up while on the phone with them.

Second, gotta have some mad skills and some good tools to be able to take over the scumbag's machine. It's also illegal, but since they're in India or someplace like that, little fear of getting arrested.

Third, and IMO this one is the kicker. Spending a half hour or more talking to a scumbag might keep them occupied for all that time, but it also means you just wasted your time too.

Better was the telephone tech who setup an auto-answer bot on his home line. It answers the phone and the caller would need to enter an easy pin (like 2 digits or something) to ring through to the guy's actual phone. Else the machine would say "Hello." Wait for a pause then say "Uh huh?" and things like "Really?" "Tell me more." and "Sounds interesting."

He also recorded the calls and said telemarketers would get really pissed off after about 5 minutes. And many still hadn't figured out they were talking to a machine.

The best part was, it took no time out of the phone tech's day. Waste a telemarketers time without wasting your own. For the win! Very Happy
