So I have been going up to the National Guard Armory for a little over a month now to work out (or as they call it, Physical Training) and its been terrible and awesome at the same time hah. The hardest part are the upper body workouts and the cardio workouts. Coincidentally, what I need to work on the most hah.
I've also been eating like a bird (no offense to the winged furs out there hah). Usually a protein shake in the morning after PT, a salad and some fruit and another protein shake for lunch, and then a chicken or rabbit based dinner with a veg. Also, a ton of water. At least 3 liters a day.
In the last month, I've lost about 30lbs, 3in off my waist, and can now jog at least a mile without dieing haha
Just curious if anyone else is into getting fit and what you're doing hah. _________________ Times change and so do people. |

I'm finding the watching what I eat isn't so hard. My biggest problem is how much I eat hah. _________________ Times change and so do people. |

To maximize your wight loss, avoid stuff with High Fructose Corn Syrup in it. Since doing that I (and others I work with who started doing the same thing) have lost some significant weight. That stuff is liquid fat! _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

Hikaru... Technically its liquid sugar haha.
He's right though. Low sodium, low/no added sugar, low carb... Those seem to be the biggest helpers when losing weight.
So far I can run a very hilly mile in about 14min... Not too bad. I'll be happy when I can do it in 10min.
I should have no issues in basic training with running if I can do that.
Pushups are a whole other story though. I have no upper body strength. _________________ Times change and so do people. |

So I sort of over did it... I ran 6mi (really pushed myself) yesterday... Gave myself a pretty sharp on the outside of my right knee.
Ah well.
So today, I ran one mile... Wasn't too bad. It still hurt, but it wasn't bad. So I kept pushing and accomplished 50 pushups, 100 cross fit sit-ups, and 150 squats. The pain in my knee isn't as intense as it was yesterday or this morning.
Almost there. _________________ Times change and so do people. |

I focus my body on what it matches to the blood type that I have.
It does make a noticeable change.-- feeling much better, and so on.
It is "Blood Type Diet" really it's not a diet. it's a lifestyle just like gluten free food for people who can't have gluten.
On that note, I am eating gluten free food stuff too. _________________ ~JF
