It's very... black, isn't it? Actually, I like the use of the contrasting color scheme for the homepage, et al. The font is a little darker than I would like, but I like my fonts to stand up and catch my attention, so it's no big deal. It's readable, and that's all that matters.
Just OOC (Out Of Curiosity), what program did you use to make the pic on the homepage? It's very good, and quite eye-catching. |

True, it's kinda dark... but not too shabby
The darker blue is easier on the eyes than the bright blue of the links.
That's all I have to say for now _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

The dark blue on black is a little hard on the eyes. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Not bad over all.
Too little contrast with the dark blue on black text. Bolding the text or going a point higher in size might help.
The usual problems with frames: Why would I want your site wraped around YahooGroups???
Spelling error on the Oekaki page. (Jave-->Java) And it's not clear (at least to me) what the Oekaki page is supposed to do. |

Your site, well... Without voting, can be improved.
I like the black, but not everyone else would. But to use black means you have to use constrating large fonts and gradient merging graphics.
But if running your own server, why have an outside source drive away potential clients? Sites like http://www.cgiarchives.com have scripts and programs to make your own forum/email and other fun stuff. The only problem is attract the people. Use Yahoo groups for that!
You also need to change your links to hide those ip numbers and use the domain names. IP numbers can be used against you... but the mere script kiddie would oo and ah on domain names.
The next thing- what you're running? CPU/RAM/HD/OS/WebServer?
I got a Modified Mac Clone with a G3@350MHz, 192MHz, 4gig, NetBSD 1.6, w/ Apache 1.4 (2.0 wont run Perl- yet) It runs fernandogutierrez.net and accidentalcomics.com . It had other sites on it, but some ppl did not paid their rent so they were evicted. A major loss of income
Without the xWindows running (all text), the server runs as fast as a 1 gig job with xWindows. I kinda like that. |

have to agree with blitz, the blue and black is easy on the eyes. But then, I'm old enought o have had a PC with a mono screen - Amber and Black, Green and Black. You name, I had it-in monochrome.

That sounds almost as much fun as watching a game of snooker on a B/W T.V |

Greetings!
Interesting site...
Nice picture. Ordinarily I frown upon such large pictures on the front page of a site, but yours is only 26KB so it's OK.
The links page on the other hand...
1. add 'TARGET=_main' on the links to avoid having the linked to site appear in your frames. (Yes, I know, the Forum link on my site doesn't use it either, but then agai, it points to my section of the Forum )
2. Why the h**k isn't PlanetFurry listed on that page?

And I played Tetris on VT100 terminals conencted to a VAX VMS system...
(Awful B/W terminals, looking almost like the old Commodore VIC20 or C64 in shape)
No, it doesn't have graphics capability, only text...
Colour? Who needs 'em? _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"
