Thank you, Dsquare. Greatly appreciated.
As I mentioned in my pseudo-blog this morning (shameless plug!), I'm making a conscious effort to reconnect with my friends in the furry community. Apparently starting here.
Gotta move on, hopefully to some day soon get back to writing. There are several impatient protagonists standing around in the back of my mind, tapping feet, wringing paws, or snorting. It's getting annoying ... <winks>

Congrats to Mike and Katlyn! And, as always, if you need air support, just call.

I think the city, the county, the church, and (not to be left out) the FAA might have something to say about any aircraft I might be associated with "trimming the trees," as it were.
Although that does put me to mind of a fly-in airshow I attended too many years ago to count, up in the Central Valley at Merced. Every morning, about half an hour before dawn, this character would get up, depart in his beautifully restored vintage Piper Cub, and while flying low and slow along the ranks of aircraft with tents parked along the runway, alternately blow reveille on his trumpet and shout "Wake up, you lazy bums!"
By the third pass he was flying a little higher to avoid the small arms fire of boots, wheel chocks, left-over hotdogs, and anything else the weary aviators below could find to throw at him.
No ... I don't think a bugle call would work for Mike and Kaitlyn either. But I'll think on it, and let you know if I come up with something. Thanks for the idea!

Ah, where would we be without such characters...
Somewhere with more hair that we ripped out while they was doing these stunts (or laughing at them)... |

Congrats Mike and Kaitlyn!
The deed is done,
the time now come,
To start their lives anew.
With God above,
And their true love,
We know they'll make it through.
And may I say, quite the beautiful young pup you have there, SC. Snowcat says a fond hi to both she and Adam.

Oh, and by the way, United Airlines lost Mike & Kaitlyn's baggage somewhere between LAX and LIR. Still trying to connect with them to see if we can help.

Okay, a bit behind the curve here but I'll wish my best to Mike and Kaitlyn.
By the way, good photo on your blog.

Good to hear you are still taking care of yourslf, and good on the youngins for tying the knot. I am rather late in this reply, but life has been hectic here for a while again. Still, it is slowing down a little bit at last

Thank you for your compliment, Kel. She's a pretty young coyfox if I do say so myself. And all growed up! Damn smart too.
Glad to hear things are settling down for you Aslaug. Wish I could say the same for this side of the pond. But the horizon is bright. When the dust clears it'll be a brand new day for the old dog.
Catch you all later ...

When we first laid eyes on each other Tigermark, the hat I am now tipping to you in thanks was brand new. That hat is now well used and has seen many miles and many battles, not unlike you and I. Still, the old leather seems a little cleaner and stronger this morning as I tip that hat to you and say "Thank you, brother, for your wishes."
I've grown weary of saying "Next year will be better," because I've been proven wrong on several occasions recently. But you can bet your tail that I'll be doing whatever I can to make succeeding years better than this last year has been, and with the help of friends like you I think that endeavor is within my abilities.
My best to you and yours, my friend.
