And a truly impressive beginning it is, too!

I await eagerly the upcoming chapters.

Yep, definitely a story to watch out for.

In other words, hurry up with the next chapter!

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm glad you like the story.

I promise to have the first chapter done doon.

BTW: for those who want to look into the time reference, I'm using the same Universal Calendar Date system Pflarrian does Smile

Can you say "Doomsday Weapon"?

Sure. I knew you could.

"It's a beautiful day in what's left of the neighborhood." . . . . . Okay, so I lie. The day sucks old gym socks. For the townspeople, anyway.

Non-canonical, huh? Does that mean, perhaps, that in this scenario, the Sword of Eternity DOESN'T get smashed? Wouldn't that be a hoot.

Nnnnnnnnext?!?

Well, their problems are over...

I will keep it in canon as much as I can. However, no plan survives contact with the enemy and so I wanted to be on the save side by saying that there might be differences between Otherworlds and SOE. At the moment there are none planned though.

Wow. She can crash my party...NOT!

An interesting start, Tygon. A doomsday weapon and a homicidal maniac to use it. What is her motive? We need more!

Well now!

Titanic, Titania, and Eternity...

You do realize that I fully expected to hear Tygon yell "King of the world!"

I for one enjoyed this. Was this their honeymoon?

Fish

I'm glad you like it, Fish, and you of course too, Nameless.

I was afraid that somebody would make some Titanic joke. Rolling Eyes

He would never yell such a thing. "King of the world"... why should he limit himself like that Wink

That was only the beginning.

Very, very moving! You can feel the latent energy at his command, the careful restraint that the Spirit of Rage maintains over his power.

I'm very curious now: you mentioned Jirrigh in passing as 'immortal'. Was that status bestowed upon her by Lord Panthera? If she was immortal originally, how'd she end up as a harem girl? I need some backstory here!

Further curiosity: Given that he had never entertained the thought that he might fall in love, what would be Lord Panthera's reaction now if something . . . permanent . . . were to happen to Jirrigh?

I just have this feeling ........ Shocked

I guess we'd find out why he is called "The Spirit of Rage" Evil or Very Mad

Well, he isn't called The Spirit of Rage just because it sounds good Smile

Hmmm... I forgot that not that many people know or remember the forum story these characters a based on. Okay, I'll try to work in some backstory to explain this. So much right now: Jirrigh is not Immortal by birth.

A few hints can also be found in the intro to chapter 30 of Otherworlds, since Pflarrian's diary entry there sums up the events from that forum story. There are not much hits though, since this summary focusses on Pflarrian and Mara.

Hmmm... well, I can say that you do NOT want to be anywere near if that should happen.
