You have a point there; Zagam has only so many square inches of hide available for tanning. There may be furs that won't get a piece of hide . . . or will they?

Ah, Cutter Long . . . That's a name I haven't heard in a while . . .
Well, Zagam could know him. (: _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

Why yes, yes they did!
And it was carefully explained to them why they shouldn't. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

Grrrr ...
Oh, and that judge can go suck an assortment of ovulations of his own choosing. If Aslaug doesn't feel like letting Sytry go, she'll piss on the rules and plant an axe in his skull anyway. Rules, in her opinion, are meant to be bent to bursting point, and she would come up with a justification along the lines of "I was putting it back on my belt, but I stumbled, it fell from my hand at an unfortunate angle and velocity and split his skull. What can I say except "oops"?" and be quite happy about it. |

. . . and you think Victoria and her 'twin sister' Virginia aren't asking to borrow some of the filly's very sharp cutlery right about now?
Neither one holds the Celestial Court in high esteem. You know, I bet it wouldn't take much to set them off . . .
And don't forget, there is one very pissed off bovine male that is just a little upset by his supposed 'friend' pitching him under the bus.
Gah, chapter 26 will certainly be ugly, gory and liberally splashed with demon blood.

Of course, after all there IS a lot of accessories needed...just hoping they can wait for the hide to cure properly first (or maybe not)... |

Hey All!
What do you know? Chapter 26 of "Redemption" has been posted.
This chapter will be an eye-opener.
It also signals that we near the end of the story. I can see just a few chapters left to go, now.

Welll now....one major 'OOOPPS' followed by a major 'THAT'S GONNA LEAVE A MARK' with a extra-large side of 'PAIN'
As for the filly, the judge said WHAT????? (*well, it wasn't the 'P' word, just close*)
Oh yea, message delivered to Lucifer, be sure to read the fine print... |

... What the Hell?! MADNESS ENSUES!! Seriously, I didn't think you could fit so much angry in that many people. Beating up Sytry was amazing enough, but actually getting the smackdown on the Big Guy Downstairs? That's... quite an achievement.
Of course, having so many characters to consider surrounding that little boxing match, it's hard to account for all their opinions on the matter. I'm sure most of them are too busy trying to supress varying degrees of horror or sniggering. Someone MUST have knocked Constantine out or something, or more probably he'd vanished off to get a bacon butty while the boxing match went on ("It's simply not my sport, chums."). He could barely miss a chance to just walk up to Luci before he got flat-ironed, shaken his hand and just said, "Bad luck, old mate."
A lot of adrenaline, a lot of anger, and a lot of sheer unadulterated payback in this chapter, I do approve. It seems your cast and all their mates have taken advice from a good old Terry Pratchett character: "When you break rules, break 'em good and hard!" I think that's should be the Amendment Foundation company motto or something.

You know, walking with sharp objects is known to be terribly hazardous. Someone might get hurt *snickers uncontrollably*
Oh, and so much for the Celestial High-and-Mighties at long last. Been waiting for Aslaug to sit them all down in front of a blackboard to teach them a few things about the realities of life, the universe and all that for a LOOOOOOOONG time now. |
