As long as he gets the idea of a (killing) hunt out of his mind, these aren't mere animals, as he should have gathered from the photos in the first place. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

You would certainly expect such images to bring the idea of sentience across, and it would be so if Greg would think along the lines of blanced people. Makes one wonder what kind of event would get through that thick skull...
In his defense, though, bear in mind that a backup CD of Sabrina's Amiga (of 1998 or so, her early work for Zig) is most likely to have explicit images only. Whether or not you find those appealing (or a token of higher thinking) certainly depends on your view on this world (or any other world, for that matter ).
Thank you all for the comments! |

Keith now knows that Maria was not mentally off but everything she was saying about being married was true.
If you knew something to be true and everyone kept telling you it did not happen, you might be a bit off balance too. |
Well, Johnny seems to be very mentally disturbed, to the point he kinda deserved what he got.
What a surprise awaits poor Maria, though.

TLs?
Quote: | Counting, he saw he’d need three shots. Then he inhaled slowly, and as fast as he dared, aimed, shot the first tube and dove to the floor at once. He rolled onto his back, pointed and shot the second tube. |
What tubes? Parts of the machinery? Fluorescent lights? Something else?
Quote: | The lion reached for his gun.
“Are you under the influence of narcotics? Get your hands on the vehicle sir! Where I can see them!”
Greg was well aware of the turn this was taking. The police lion would find his gun and that was going to end his hunting adventure altogether. |
Greg, you idiot, can't you see by now that your hunt was a bad idea? _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

It would have been just as well to just say lights (or ceiling lights) without specifying the type of bulb/tube, then it would be clear that it was lights he was shooting out. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

AmigaDragon, I am sorry for the mess with the language, and thank you for hanging in there so far!
I should have checked with my dictionary! I take your advice about 'ceiling lights' to heart. Please note that one reason why the shape of the light would be important is the ease with which you can shoot them (especially if moving).
Consider that Tabitha's universe is the future, the illumination need not be as we know it? |

Read the latest installment and I have to say, I am really beginning to dislike our antagonist. Especially his attitude towards the death of that innocent police-fur.
Keep it coming!

Thanks Kellan, I really appreciate that!
By the way, Mike's in charge of the cliffhangers. I think he's doing a great job (thanks Mike!) |

As of the last few chapters, my opinion on Greg went from dislike, to loathing.
You got a great story going here! I always look forward to seeing more each week. _________________ I'm called Steven, but it's not my first name!

Let's see, Greg's healing (hopefully tied to the bed) but how's Maria doing? |

Will someone slap Greg around just a bit for me?
Gah, I'm really disliking him.
Although scissor doors on an SUV? Does Tabitha have 24's on it too? o_O?

Can't help out on the presence of any 24's. What exactly are those?
Another thing though, why would Tabitha drive such a car? I'm sure the presence of scissor doors is linked irrevocably to a certain Mr. Foxx. But more to the core, such a car might be pretty strong. I think the reason for Tabitha to own such a car would be rooted in way she lost her sister. |
