This really reminds me of RHJunior's style with the art and coloring (as it currently stands). He doesn't use much shading but he sure can tell a compelling story.
I already know that you know how to tell a great story, Hikaru. My suggestion is, don't let coloring bog down the storytelling. _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

Just curious... Is this comic going to have anthro characters in it? I didn't notice any in that first strip. _________________ mwalimu

If you look at the first image I posted to this thread, you'll see that Hazel isn't so much an anthro as a modified human base to resemble an animal. If you read the "about" on the site, it gives some background.
GELFs were originally supposed to be uplifts but Genomics (and other corps) took shortcuts later and started just modifying base human genomes to make them appear to be uplifts.
In the story you'll see some uplifts and it'll be (hopefully) more obvious that they didn't start out as human. Their bipedal form will be far less perfected than Hazel's. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

[quote="hikaru"]Well, not on IC, however I have found an artist and we're in pre-production for a new web comic. It'll be 1 full-page a week and should have a plot far more twisted and complex than anything you've seen in IC, though I'm leaving most of the sick out of the twisted part.

That sounds great, BUT if it was up to us...you would be tied to a desk untill we get MORE "IC".
I can only reread the the current chapter so much to get my fix. You have to help us |

I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately with the 2 job thing, I barely have time to script a page and color it once it comes back. Writing a chapter generally took me anywhere from 10-15 hrs as opposed to 3 or 4. Big difference.
Unfortunately, writing isn't one of those things you can interrupt every couple of hours for a day or two and just pick up where you left off the way you can with coloring.

Any idea why Firefox asks me what I want to do with it instead of just opening it? _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |
