I would like to have this threat about open idea's with little political flam as possible. Just yesterday after President Barack Obama signed the new health care bill into law, several Republican supporters became increasingly violent against the Democratic representatives from verbal harassment to actual psychical attempts.
As our 16th president once said, "A house divided can not stand." I would like anyone and everyone to read through materials and speak peaceful with each other on this. I have a link here, please take time and thank you. I really don't count since I am Green Party member.

I've always considered the rattlesnake to be a gentlemanly beast because he makes a loud noise before he strikes, giving fair warning. Consider these threats to be warning rattles, prior to full-fledged revolution or insurrection. In that sense, at least, they're useful and constructive. |

I just can't believe how vehement the Republicans are against health care reform, it makes me sick. I just want to say Obama's my man, it's so good to finally see someone in the White House shake things up for once instead following the business as usual course his predecessors did. I'm so impressed with him I'm going to register to vote next election. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston

Eh. It's always been like this, and will always be like that. It's called polarization. Real Bi-partisanship is an illusion. _________________ Hey, Sony... IT'S PAYBACK TIME!

Obama is useless. He says what he thinks people want to hear. He has kept no promises. And he's not much a step up from Bush.
I do not like Obama. FYI, I'm not a republican or a democrat. _________________ AKA Skoon

It always gets me that so many people think it's a war of Republicans and Democrats. That thinking seems rather self centered to me. What about all the smaller parties, or those who don't blindly vote any certain party and just vote for who they think seems best? Why are these others not considered important? It's not Dems against Repubs, it's what one person feels is right or wrong compared to any other person. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!

Well said PrincessB, very well said. But the sad issue is that if its one thing both Democrats and Republicans can't stand more is to lose their seat to a 3rd party candidate. I hope that the majority of the US people will vote out the Democrats and Republicans out of office and put in people that will get the job done. Sad to say in the least that their are a few good Democrats and Republicans representative but they are retiring from public service stating that congress does not work... just like Styx slogan. _________________ Fortune Cookie that I keep in my walet say's "Knowledge is the only good and Ignorance is the only evil."

I just can't believe how ruthlessly the Democrats have pushed their agenda despite clear and obvious evidence that the American people as a whole don't wish to be Socialists, it makes me sick. It's so infuriating to watch how when the Democrats want something long-cherished rules suddenly mean nothing, while the media rolls over and cheers them on. I'm so disgusted that at this point I'm willing to do almost anything to free myself from this unprincipled tyranny. If and when the next elections happen-- and at this point I'm worried they wpn't, since rules apparently mean nothing-- I'm going to support any and all candidates that run on a platform calling for a Constitutional Convention and the re-establishment of states' rights. This shall not stand! |

*sigh*For me as someone who looks from the outside at US politics itīs absolutely stupid.
If the reps had won the democrats would doing the same.
From the outside it looks like reps are the out of the mouth foaming pistol swinging execute every criminal guys against democrats hunch punch hippies who donīt raise a hand to defend rights and can only talk but do nothing. Maybe I shouldnīt say it but in the rest of the world US politics are a big joke. Sorry. _________________ Whether a black cat brings misfortune or not, depends on whether one is a fur or a mouse.

That's okay, many cognitive thinkers in America feel our politics is a joke also...
I was getting really sick of Obama's attitude and clear bullying when the thing wasn't passed in the time frame he wanted.
That just makes it clear that had the tables been turned the Democrats would have been acting out like the Republicans. Course by Obama's bullying tactics it was also clear the tables would not be turned. This is Obama's little rule he's shoving down our throats even though much of the people are trying hard to puke it back up. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!

And I suppose Bush never shoved anything down our throats oh wait there was that little bit of fascist goodness ironically called the patriot act and then latter when no one was looking the patriot act II even staunch republicans balked at that. Health care reform at least serves a valid public need. Let's see there was some thing else he shoved down our throats, oh yes an entire war despite what the majority of the American people wanted and against the wishes of the UN. Is it any wonder why the US is so unpopular in the international community right now? As for Obama not delivering on his promises, forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't heath care reform one of his promises? _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners."
