In your opinions should there be a sept. 11 chaper added into the story to remmber our fallin men and women. Chris I hope you see this one before you get too far into the next chapter. |

Well, when you consider that Chris' story is currently in 1999, it may be a while 'til he gets to a place where such a mention is reasonable. I know I'll be following that approach when I reach that time frame (and I'm afraid that'll be a good while) in "From The Wings".
Thoughtfully,

I've pondered the possibility more than once. The obvious answer is "yes"; this is what one can describe as a "slice of life" Story, when you think about it.
Only thing is that currently I'm leading into Thanksgiving 1999; almost 2 years before the day of the attack. When 9-11 rolls around, there's the possibility that Chris and Sabrina could be married; Sabrina could even be a mother by then; who knows? And that would have an additional impact; a parent's concern for her child on that day.
For the moment, the answer to your question is "yes, one's gonna happen".
Chris! |

Hey Chris
I understand that RL has an annoying way of monopolizing our time but I was just wondering if there was any ETA on the next chapters for SOtS and Tabitha I have been finding myself a little itchy wanting to know what happens next. Oh and let me take this opportunity to say that I really have enjoyed reading the stories I really liked the bedroom scene in Sabrina, heh had me rolling on the floor for 10 minutes Also I must say I thought you and James were evil bastards when I first started reading Tabitha, I remember thinking my God how could they kill off Sabrina like that. I'm more then just a little embarrassed to admit it but chapters 1 and 6 had this 35 year old fur in shameless tears but I guess that demonstrates what good writers you and James really are, hope to read more soon and I hope everything is panning out in your new job. _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Y'know, it feels nice to be missed
The Story is finally starting to move forward. I'm hoping to have something ready within the next couple weeks. And with luck, a chapter of Tabitha a few weeks after that.

Well as cute as she is, it's very easy to lose sight of the fact that Sabrina is a skunk, after all
And thank you for such kinds words!

Now, imagine being me, and feeling the way I feel about Sabrina, and having to write a lot of that! When I'm driving home or to work, and I can't see the road for tears, my throat raw, my sinuses full ... James added the right stuff that really gave Chapter 6 a 1-2 punch that made it even more powerful. It's still hard for me to read that, too.

Thank you very much!
And thank you again; the job is working out well. Just gotta get my schedules worked out between work/family/me so I can get my fluffy tail in motion and write s'more!
My best to ya!

How about, if we dare do so challenging; all the members (authors, artists or not), make a, lets say- collective works of the day.
9-11, The Day During.
(Basic) Rules:
1 Chapter per author, describing the day's event (fiction of non-fiction- but realistic) as per their (of their character's) perspective.
1 Artist entry, as per describing the day's event (fiction of non-fiction- but realistic) as per their (of their character's) perspective.
Care to try?
Pendig on the following response, I'll put together a set of guidelines and talk with the server owners about posting it as a e-book, complete with art.
I'll be back in a week to see the repsonse, and think about the guidelines during the mean time. |

I'm game, but it's going to take me a bit - need to run the plotting out that far in storytime, esp. since FTW is still in 1999 at the moment. Though I could do a special chapter just for that day. Hmmm...

Interesting idea. I'm not sure if I can do it but I'm willing to try.
Be warned though. I have a much less passionate point of view to the whole event. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

That may be what we need.
Either that, or see if you can write it as if you (or your character(s)) really were there - in the US, even in NYC or Washington DC.
Just a thought.
You've seen the output from one story (ItSW). I've got Serina I could try it with. Y'know, not that I think about it, Serina had a very unusual reaction - she was born after it happened! But the others - well, I could probably write a section from each of their POV, from their universe, and decide whther or not it's a foregone conclusion in the alternate SabrinaVerse. (You know, the idea where something is important enough to history that even if you remove the specific individual from the time stream, someone else will rise to take his/her place?) Hmm....

A less passionate pov? Probably. But it makes a lot pf people think of me as cold and heartless.

Well, if I write about my character (what I will do if I do it) they will definitely be in the US. They live there after all. But on the other paw... hmmm... but that can be handled when I start writing.

The theory of adaptive time. I actually like that one. Makes time travel much easier

4 out of 4? Not too bad, but I'll wait for more input...
Tygon, its better to be known as cold and ruthless than not to be known at all.
