I find the old buck a little bit deceitful ( hope that is the right word for it)
He donīt tell Frank that he ask the community to help him and Molly.
And Frank is a very personal character as I see it. Things can turn ugly after a while. Hope both have a long talk about these things. But I wait for the next chapter. |
tobi3b: Interesting interpritation on the Rabbi. Wait unti next chapter when you get to learn more about the good Rabbi and his wife.
Wolfshead: Oh it's going to go places. Even though this is just the opening story arc. A lot of what you have seen (and will see), much like real life, will have lasting ramifications, Especially by the end of this arc.
Remember the old addage: everything that goes around, eventually comes back around. |

Just curious...
Did you ever read a story 'Greg & Angie' on LoneCooon.net?
(I think it's hosted on Furnation these days. Haven't been updated in a few years) _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

That's a negative Anthony. If you're recommending it, I'll give it a look.
Personally I just discovered "Persona Animus".
All I can say is:
SWEET GODDESS! Why didn't someone tell me about this sooner!
Holy cripidy crap his arts insane! |

It's http://www.furnation.com/lonecoon/
You may have to 'fiddle with' the URL for some chapters, though.
There's a couple of other stories there, too. _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

Enjoying the continued story, Alexi. It's interesting to see the hardened fur that Frank has become, and yet still see the tenderness coming through for little Molly.
Clearly, Frank has a shady past that he's not proud of, and it has affected the fur he has become. However, he still has a strong sense of decency, and even compassion. I'm betting that Molly will help to bring it out of him more than he's been willing to bring out in the past.
How many here will bet a nickel that Molly ends up staying with Frank for more than just the last three months of the school year? *raises a paw* _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

I love reader speculation. It's soo cool to see where people take things and what they see that may have not.
Teric: Thanks for the acolaids.(sp) I will try not to let anyone down in terms of writing or story. (Although Nicolai and M. Regan really help with my grammatics. Thanks guys.)
Frank's past is going to be a reacurring subject through out the story. Yes, it has a few "dark spots". But honestly, whos doesn't?
Molly... Well Molly will just continue to be Molly. Kids are like that.
And if the bets are a nickel, what are the odds? 3-1, 5-1 ????? _________________ "Liven a dream, Oh you're on top. My mind is aching, oh it won't stop. That's how it happens, living life by the drop."- Life by the drop. Stevie ray Vaughan. |

Whoa.
And ... wow.
And ... and ...
Today was, I am VERY sorry to say, the first time I set aside the time to read this story. My loss. You, sir, have a masterful touch at character development. I was inside Frank's head from page one. And the way you draw out a highly emotional response from just a few sentences is a thing of beauty. Hey, my shirt is wet.
Yeah. Wow.

Thank you Concolor. That realy means a lot. Four will go up this week end and I have started on the edits for five as well as the typing on six. It should be ready for the bookshelf soon. I'm actually amazed that what started a s a small story, has bloomed into a much greater sized one quite quickly. The more I write, the more the charicters tell me about what's going on in between the outline I drew up originaly as well as what they are feeling.
I try very hard not to over detail things sometimes. Judging from the responces I'm getting, I think I hit on the right mix finally.
Be carefull where you walk in frank's head. He's got a few skeletons up there. _________________ "Liven a dream, Oh you're on top. My mind is aching, oh it won't stop. That's how it happens, living life by the drop."- Life by the drop. Stevie ray Vaughan. |

Heh. Tell me about it. Any more, I'm just a stenographer. A good three-quarters of Chapter 60 was entirely out of bounds of the outline ... and the outline itself is on its eighty-sixth revision. Yes, I keep track. I have all the previous ones in a file. It's interesting to go back and see just how far the story has moved from its initial path.
Your talent is obvious. I'm very glad you decided to share. _________________ Oddly enough, my life is based on a true story. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

Well thank you. I tend to be over critical of my work sometimes (Being a Virgo I guess.) Like I told Mike, it's bloomed out very quickly like a cloud. The mushroom shape is a bit unnerving but... I'll run with it. _________________ "Liven a dream, Oh you're on top. My mind is aching, oh it won't stop. That's how it happens, living life by the drop."- Life by the drop. Stevie ray Vaughan. |
