NOTE to those people who were on the Video Greeting posted recently on Kellan's homepage.

I am planning something in return for you people but, as you know I'm hideously privte and I don't want to post something of myself where it's available to everyone. However, I'll need each of you to either PM me or send me an email to tell me where you want me to contact you. In a few weeks time (Two to three weeks) I will be recording a reading of a sneak preview ... and I'm going to let those who were in on the video greeting take a look.

Just them. Everyone else will have to wait a while longer Very Happy

Just a quick update to tell you all that no, this is not forgotten. The video greeting was recorded last weekend, but as it turns out, it was recorded on some kind of superdupermegaspiffydeluxesnazzywhoopwhoopwhere'smythribble camera which means it was recorded in just about the BEST hi definition quality available.

Why is this a problem?

Well, SPACE folks ... SPACE. Seeing as this video greeting is running close to half an hour in length, it would take up OBSCENE amounts of room on my homepage, and so, Bastion needs to edit it a bit first. At least to make sure it's in a slightly lower quality. Sorry, but it has to be that way. However, as it turned out, he didn't have the software to do this but he did tell me yesterday that now he's arranged to get it. So it WILL get posted ... promise!

Well, I have some bad news.

The video greeting won't get posted after all. It turned out to be a bigger issue than originally anticipated. The file is huge and would take up a lot of space on the site, and Bastion has had trouble finding time to make the file smaller. There was the option of putting it up on an external site that he had heard about, but I am paranoid about the internet and files involving my face, so I'm not posting it on a site where I don't know the owner.

Sadly, this means there won't be a return video greeting. I am very sorry about this, but it just can't be helped. The reason for this is that the clip included the beginning of the next story, to be posted after Witchhammer is concluded. And I can't postpone sending what I have off to my proofreaders any longer. If I had sent it off before that file went up, it would kinda spoil the surprise after all.

I'm sorry about this, but it's the kind of thing that can happen.

Mea culpa.

Maybe. No promises. Anyway, Kellan, Tigermark and Valaina got the first pieces of the next story in the email this morning. Tigermark evidently thought it was great Smile
