Actually, as their 'Hohm' system is 'connected' to your house and whatever 'smart' appliances you have, you may come home and find that it's your house that has BSOD...
You - 'My new Ford EV stopped suddenly, I can't get it to start, and it was fully recharged when I left home a few minutes ago'
Support - 'Do you have a Bosh dryer at home?'
You - 'Yes, but... ?'
Support - There's a driver incompability with certain models of Bosh dryers. Please switch off your dryer, wait five minutes, then try to start your car again'...

What's so surprising this isn't their first foray into the auto industry, Microsoft wants into everything. You just know that the first permanent lunar colony's dome will have "Powered by MICROSOFT" printed on the outside don't you?
