I'm not into metal, per se but I do like Deep Purple. They were the 'Metal' of my day.

I've also been known to 'crank up' my amps and annoy the downstairs neighbors!

I enjoy many types of music, but I've never been into the really heavy stuff myself. On the other hand, some of the video game tracks I enjoy would probably fit in that genre (i.e. Unreal Tournament 2004, F-Zero X).

As far as metal goes I've found that the best metal comes from Scandinavia try Tyr, Nightwish, and Apocolyptica.
