I have a question for all Zelda fans.

Twilight Princess got some good reviews and was quite popular, but still fell short of Ocarina of Time. Now my question is this: If they remade Ocarina of Time for the Wii with Twilight Princess graphics, improved audio quality, and left everything else unchanged, would you buy it?

I'd probably give it a try, even though I find the claim that Twilight Princess it falls short of Ocarina of Time doubtful.

I admit, I haven't play all of Ocarina of Time, but I played Twilight Princess BEFORE I got a chance to play Ocarina of Time and found the former to be superior.

You are looking at Ocarina of Time through the tinted glasses of nostalgica, something I am guilty of myself quite a few times. Not always is the "good old stuff" actually better than the new stuff.

Or as Yahzee said it: "When the gaming kids of today become the 20-somethings of tomorrow they'll be declaring that Halo 3 was miles better than a game of Interstellar Pirates on the astral thoughtplane of the universal overmind and they'll be just as wrong as you are today."

(Note: Yes, I censored him a bit)

Of course, I could be completely wrong here, so I voted maybe.

What if instead they used their resources into making a different Zelda which can be just as awesome as Ocarina, instead of remaking it? That's all everyone is doing today, remakes or re-releases. I hope the Video Game Crash doesn't happen again. Confused

I would as long as it had at least the storyline depth of Ocarina of Time. Twilight princess was excellent, but it was way too short.....
