*The F-14s miss the cloud and one fires a Special Tipped Super Phoenix. This is an invincible missile. No matter what you throw at it it will keep going until it hits it's target, which is the C-130.* _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

C-130 drops ramp and, using a ground-launching unit, fires a brace of R-73P passive homing AAM's that home on the Phoenix's active radar seeker. Invincible, perhaps, invulnerable, no.
Editted PS: Lest anyone think I'm making these up, they were written up in the July 26, 2004 issue of [u]AW&ST[/i], commonly called "AvLeak". Earlier versions have apparently been around since 1990 and have been one reason our next generation fighters are going to multispectral/multisensor data fusion instead of "just" improved radars. For that matter, under the "Sidearm" and "Brazo" project names, the US studied the same idea two decades ago but never, publically at least, put something like this into production. _________________ "But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cateagle. *Upon losing their tracking ability the phoenix missiles imeadiately detonate sending a shock/intense heat wave right at the C-130.* _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

*C-130 flies off with her tail on fire. Which if you knew the Lady B, is pretty much normal for her, LOL*
Thanks for the assist, Cateagle. Henry, don't worry. As I said, it'll grow back
