A buddy of mine who is also a game aholic, sent me a belated Xmas/Bday present.
It was the soundtrack to the Game "Halo". I like it alot. Very new age-ish
all instrumental and has upbeat and relaxed tunes.
Oh if anyone has the old MechWarrior pc game it has some excellent tunes that play on your stereo too.

I have a CD with all the tunes from the original Jazz Jackrabbit game. Some are pretty good!

Halo: ahhh-ahh-ahh-ah-AH-ah-ahhh-ahhh.... Beautiful stuff!

I do enjoy game music myself, most notably from Final Fantasy 6, 7, and 8 - Nobuo Uematsu rocks!

You didn't meet a gamer until you've met me.
Anyway, some of the best tunes I know (and can't forget) are of Interstate 76'. That is some awsome game.

That was me in the latter post.
Anyway, there's also PoP, if you like Holywood-Attempts-At-Creating-Oriental-Music-Scores kind.
Oh, and the theme of Duke3D... And Jackrabbit Jazz, in which the music is sort of fun Very Happy

If you're talking about Prince of Persia: The Sands of time, I'm trying to get the soundtrack from that game because I love it. Unfortunately most game soundtracks never make it over here Sad

search the disk and see if the music is extractable.

It isn't, but instead of searching the disc you can search KaZaA or something. I got most of the soundtrack (MP3)...

I've extracted all songs from each of these Command And Conquer games: C&C (PSX), Red Alert: Retailiation (PSX), Red Alert, Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge, Generals and Zero Hour. But I've deleted most of them to save space for all my other music.

C&C has an *execellant* sound track... search on Kazaa (or whatever P2P client you use) for remixes of them (example, the Hell March remix).

Descent I and II have original redbook tracks featuring Ogre of Skinny Puppy and Type O Negative. I've ripped a few of the tracks if anyone wants them... good instrumental rock.

Sim City 3000 also has a nice soundtrack... Very mellow, jazzy songs.

If you disable sound effects in the game, you can live record the track as it's playing, save it, convert it, etc.
