This one was an interesting one to write. I didn't expect the first part to take up as much room as it did. In fact, it rather took over the chapter completely.
I'm sure that by the end of the chapter, everyone will have figured out exactly what happened.

Wow! That was an extremely troubling chapter!
I don't see an easy way out of Zig's dilemma...other than the prosecutor has (obviously) no proof at all of what he's accusing her of. But lordy! she's taking a beating!
I hope you wrap that part up soon...I'm feeling very antsy about Zig right now.
BTW: In a furry world, is it an insult to say that the prosecutor was "badgering" her? _________________ Hortmage, the Magic Gardener

I wouldn't be king of the cliff hangars if I didn't toss something like that out once in a while. I just hope that James doesn't come after me with a base ball bat ^_-

Bad news is: That's the last you'll hear about it until after the end of Act III.

Maybe, but then again, my version of the Sabrina-verse isn't as PC as the real world, so things like that will exist.

Hmmm why do I have this sudden urge to go zebra hunting? I'm going to have to re-read that chapter where Zig mauled Arden because I thought that she had only injured her father grazing him not actually killed. Very intense chapter Hikaru it was like watching an episode of LA Law _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston

*drools assimilating all the information*
Well well, seems like Zig is in a very tight trouble. But, it is supposed that the time between dimensions runs at the same pace? How can be that Arden and Sheila have been months and months on foreign worlds and Zig Zag is in court? Shouldn't her be in jail now? |

Are you kidding? a case can be held up for a long time before ever going to trial it all depends on cooperative both sides are willing to be and how much do you want to loose I mean bet on the prosecution being cooperative humm? _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Styx is right. Especially with a capital case. The fact that it's going to court in less than 9 months (Sheila ain't popped yet. ) shows that considering this is a celebrity case, they're rushing it.
If you look at the celebrity cases in the news, you'll see what I'm talking about. How long did the OJ trial take to go to court? How about that guy that dumped his pregger wife off the boat OVER A YEAR AGO!
Nope. Justice is slow on high profile cases. They don't want to screw up and look like idjots.

Well, the powers that be will probably arrest, try, and convict Arden for his actions on that night. I mean, even with hostages, corrupt politicians, and hired killers, Arden's actions that night were illegal, and could probably not be called "self defense". I don't know what they'd do with Shiela. Of course, if Arden can somehow fix things from afar, that could be avoided. _________________ "Well, I've wrestled with reality for a long time now, and I think I can safely say that I've finally won out."
