Ok, been thinking about it a LOT, and i finally decided to get a 3D rendering program... i got Maya 5 Unlimited and i really wish to learn how to use it, ummm....

Well Maxx you have to learn the basics, learn to know your modeling tools. SO I recommend a book that covers the fundamentals of Maya. I suggest you snoop around Renderosity, or Amazon for that, maybe 3DCafe.
