|I thought you guys may like it... being december... christmass and all that... anyway, for what is worth here goes what has helped me so far...
Blessings for all.
7 steps for being happy:
First step: you must aknowledge the presence of a higher being, give thanks for everything that happens and say prayers for being alive this morning.
Second step: This one is pivotal, love for yourself, and when you go to bed you have to repeat this: I AM important, i am worth a lot, i am able to do whatever i want, there isn't a single obstacle i can't try overcoming. This step is called self esteem.
Third step: Practice what you preach, if you think you are intelligent, well, make the right choices, if you think you are able, do what you must to reach your goals; If you think you are warm and open, express your feelings accordingly; If you think that you can achieve anything in life, propose yourself some goals, and fight for them until you get there. This is called motivation.
Fourth step: The fourth step is that, you must not envy anything from anyone... he or she has what he has because they earned it, you must also earn the winnings of your hard work.
Fifth step: don't hold grudges against anyone, bitterness in your heart will make you unhappy, let God's laws make justice, and you... live, forgive and forget.
Sixth step: Don't take what doesn't belong to you, according to the laws of nature, you will lose something even more valuable later.
Seventh step: don't be disrespectful with no one, every living being deserves to be loved and respected.
And last, but not least... wake up with a smile, look around you, and see what's good in you, only the fact of being alive makes it all worth it, make the difference by helping someone, do it without thinking on getting something valuable for your actions; look at the folks around you and assimilate their qualities, also give them your secret of being happy.
God bless in this wonderful time.
