Usually when someone tries to attack a server, they are using tools created by more knowlegable hackers/crackers aimed towards specific vulnerabilities in a server, DoS attacks, etc. What system admins like myself try to do to defend the server(s) is keep the software patched and up to date. |

But my code is pretty safe unless they are total LOTR freaks and know as much as me, this is maybe one in every 3,000 people, so I feel safe. If it does happen I'll be glad to do anything possiable to help, yet once again I am bad at computer stuff. If police don't do anything, really bad cops where I live, I'll be glad to pound their heads in for you Whip. I'm not really a mean person but I hate it when people just randomly destroy stuff, especially if it rocks like this site. |
Don't count on it, Drauger. I've read those books 4 or 5 times each, and my dad used to read them to me when I was little (twice, I think). So your password is not all THAT safe. I suggest not using words, but use capitals, numbers, and lowercase characters seemingly randomly placed, and then just memorize it. |

speaking of languages - 1337 speak is good for passwords.
Ironic it originated for the hackors to protect themselves on public forums! _________________ Throw me to the wolves because there's order in the pack,

I like to use dead languages and numerals for mine. most are in the range of 20 characters.
Aramaic and Biblical Greek are solid for that.
And never ever ever forget to change case at odd times. _________________ "Do not Taunt Happy Fun God" -Cthulhu |

My way to create passwords:
1. Think of two (or more) random words (ie: lightbulb, stereo)
2. Think some some nice numbers
3. Convert it to 1337-speak
4. Add HTML tags
The final product...

Looks complex, but it really is simple to remember!
