|
|
This has happened more than once, but now it's really gotten to be a problem. I use the IMAP connection with the Kaisha mail, but it happened with the webmail before.
I'll get a bunch of e-mail in my inbox, and it seems fine. Until I try to delete stuff and get the message "UID COPY failed: Message copy failed: Disk quota exceeded."
Usually I've been able to just clear out my trash can and give it a go and that fixes it. But recently I've received several rather large zip files in my inbox and even though my trash folder is completely empty, I can't get these files out of my inbox!
So what do I do, move what I want to save to another folder, connect with POP3 and download the files off the server? Or can you up my "disk quota" for the trash can a bit? ...Or can I? |

There is an issue with Squirrelmail related to this issue, but if you're having a problem with just the IMAP session (which Squirrelmail also uses), then it sounds like the mail you think you're deleting is still taking up space somewhere.
You may want to PM or IM me with the details, but what account on which server is having the problem? |

It was [email protected] -- it happened in SquirrelMail and via the IMAP connection. It seems it would try to "copy" the mail from the inbox to a Trash folder, where I'd have to "empty the trash" to delete it, and the "trash" box was too small for some reason.
I tricked it by "moving" the mail to a local folder via IMAP and deleting it locally. It was a cheap workaround but it did the trick. |
