Sounds a fun idea to me, Jai!
What system are you using? ADRIFT, Alan, Hugo, Inform, TADS (2 or 3?)?
I've used Hugo, Inform and TADS3 (just getting started with this one). Inform's been my favourite, but TADS3 is currently looking good due to it's nice IDE (though it does have some bugs). Hugo's got a good language too. With Hugo and TADS, it's easy to include sounds, music and graphics. Inform is similarly easy, but for a few caveats (compiling to the Glulx format, downloading the Blorb tools separately) and that support for such games is only now gaining pace.
If you don't already know, rec.arts.int-fiction is a good place to look for advice. I know a little, so I'll try to help out if I can. _________________ Stuart "Sslaxx" Moore. |
