Hmm, then I'm about 200+ this morning. Too much ladder climbing yesterday.

Gah . . .

"You're only as old as the women you feel."

I remember seeing that on here once.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting. I start physical training with a ex marine buddy of mine at 5am. BTW... I'm fat hah. Then I get to work my day job, then I get to do work on the farm.

Gonna be an interesting couple of weeks till I get used to the abuse lol

The only thing that convinces me that I am in fact 18+ instead of twelve is the fact that I have a driver's licence. XD

It's been just over ten years for me too. I'm 39 nowadays, feeling a lot older to be honest ...

It's been a wild ride, even if I'm not here as much as I used to be. It seems no one really is, these days. I miss back in the day when there were dozens of active people on this forum. I miss when there were loads of activity on the forums of those of us who wrote stuff.

Yeah ... I feel old.

Yep. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I feel there is a huge difference the way furs were back when I got into it and how they are now.

I dunno... Could just be me haha

I don't think it's just you.

There's a greater degree of shame attached to the fandom these days. I've always seen myself as a human being writing furry stories (or at least I did, when I still wrote them), rather than as an actual furry or someone with a fursona, but I've never understood the shame some people seem to feel in admitting that they are part of this fandom.

As far as I'm concerned, it's no different from any other fictional fandom out there. I've heard people whine about how being a furry is somehow equated with being particularly lewd ... which frankly always left me scratching my head since I've always seen everything I've written in Looney Tunes-lines for my inner eye, and I'm sorry to say this, much as I think Daffy is the coolest duck ever invented, marginally edging Donald for first place, I don't consider him particularly sexy.

When people have asked me to describe what it was I wrote, I've usually described it as "Looney Tunes for adults" ...

I suppose that's just my take on it. I'm not saying it's the one-and-only-truth ... far from it ... but I simply don't see the need for people to hide what they've done. I feel pretty good about the "Transitions"-series, as well as various spinoffs I've got on my site. They were how I got started on writing and the feedback I got from them was what built my confidence in my abilities.

I can't see any reason for shame in that.

What really confuses me is why this change happened at all.

Or am I the only one who has had this kind of experience?
