Aslaug,
Just get better nothing is more important than your health.
Had a close relative lost her battle to depression, and the result she took her own life by jumping down from her home which is on the 10th storey.
So take it easy, talk to someone. Or rant it out here, we will be here for you. |

All I can say has already been said better than I can formulate.
So... Hope you get better soon Filly.

Hi guys, I am slowly improving here, and I am hoping to be back at work on Friday, after a meeting with my doctor on Thursday.
I have also sent this month's chapter to Bastion, hoping he might be able to get it up later this week. |

Nice! BTW, isn't that also known as a seax? You know, that whole "Old English, derived from early Germanic/Saxon language, that took some of its structure from the Danes that came south and took Saxony by fair conquest"?

Yeah, it is also known as a seax. Same thing, different spellings. This isn't the nicest version I have found, admittedly. There are a lot of other ones out there that are absolutely amazing. |

I've stumbled across these Cold Steel products while purchasing tactical weapons for my own use. No claims for historical authenticity, but they look like they'd do the job:
the Viking Sword
the Norse Hawk
Just sayin' ...

I've been known to have a Cold Steel Brave Heart stashed in the top of my right kilt sock.
I've also been jonesing for a Dirk and a Scottish Basket Hilt sword from Cold Steel, too. Just the items to complete my ensemble to be the Master Of Ceremonies at our local Burns Supper. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

High on my list of "gotta haves" are the Chaos Tanto, their version of the classic trench knife, and the Natchez Bowie, a truly awesome DFWM combat / fighting knife.
The "Chaos" is basically the same blade that the Recon Tanto has, with the huge D-grip mounted to it. I've had a Recon for years and carry it with me religiously. It's a wonderful utility tool / camp knife / combat weapon. Very strong and forgiving, it takes and holds an edge fairly well.
That Natchez uses the same steel that the Black Bear Classic uses. <shakes head admiringly> What a blade ... sharp as hell and virtually indestructible as long as you don't use it for a chisel or a pry bar.
None can hope to match the Filly's long axe, but we poor mortals will soldier on none the less.
What say you, Valkyrie?

okay I have to point out a huge mistake in your thinking Aslaug.
Bulls in a china shop aren't as destructive as people say. They tested it on mythbusters with four bulls.
So don't make that mistake again!
PS. I agree with the rest you said. _________________ "You are the universe, expressing itself as a human for a little while."
