Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, were so gallantly streaming
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night...THAT OUR FLAG WAS STILL THERE!
Oh, say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave
For the Land of the Free, and the Home of the Brave!

So many lost. All of it began that day. I have yet to forgive those responsible for the deaths of those I cared for. And for the threat to the lives of people I care about now.

Forgiveness is badly overrated.
People like those who did this are murderous swine. I have not, nor will I ever forget, and considering that this was an attack on the entire western world and our way of life, not just on America, I will not forgive. I won't even -try-. |

9/11
I personally, will never forget, on this day ten years ago,
the act of fear that willed this country low.
Never before has such an enlightened one beheld,
what the ignorant one wish dispelled.
All the great an noble ones that, children left behind,
gave unto us the hope everlasting, unrefined.
For unto us burned a mark as fire red,
the wish of that bastard dead.
Have strength to overcome it and prey that we never plummet,
see the hope in tomorrow and live, never to forget.
yes i remember that dark-filled day and unto us i say,
remember, remember, remember for always that day.
yeah i will never forget the day and where i was
i had just gotten out of bed and was getting ready for school when something possessed me to turn on the TV and there was the first tower on fire and not 5 min. later i watched as the second tower was hit.
and there is something about that day that i will never forget just because it struck me as funny, and that was that wile at school every teacher was letting us watch the news coverage of it. just as i got in to my history class the first tower fell and no joke the history teacher wasn't letting us watch. everyone else in the school was watching history in the making but the history teacher wouldn't let us watch. so i found out that the first tower fell in English class and watched the second one fall after that. _________________ to each their own

I lost a good friend to this senseless attack upon the United States.
I dearly hope that the perpetrators of this attack find eternal damnation of their souls to their likings.
I can neither forgive nor forget. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

It was a terrible day. May those lost and those serving always be remembered. But let us not dwell on it. Those charged with the crime have been punished. Forgiveness is hard, but it is not impossible. The forces that lashed out, showed two things, the cowardice of lost men, and the spirit of a people united. I pity the men who committed the act. They were misled, and they died as needlessly as the people they killed. Never let the day be forgotten, never let fear and hatred win.
Blessed be. _________________ A little Nonsense now and then, is Relished by the Wisest men. |
