Liar's Poker, by Michael Lewis. It's a book on the 1980's culture and excesses of Wall Street.

Though statistically I'm far more likely to be reading a book on Messerchmitt aces at any given moment. Tell me, do they cover any Me 110 daytime aces? Also, if you like that sort of thing I _strongly_ suggest "The First and The Last" by Adolf Galland and "I Flew For the Fuhrer" by Heinz Knocke (or Knoke, forget which).

I'm rereading Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. Hopefully, I can unlock its secrets to make my own novel every bit as "can't put down" as this one is.

Just finished reading Andre Norton's "Plague Ship" on my Nook.

It was copyrighted in 1956 by A. Norton, writing as Andrew North.

It's a free eBook and I give it 4+ stars out of 5.

"Striking thoughts." by Bruce Lee. Once I'm done with it, my next one (Already sitting in the que) is "The book of Law" by Alester Crowley.

Good series. I loved the whole Flinx series. He just finished it up last year. Was a fun run.

Founding Brothers, The God Delusion, Delusion of Disbelief, and Firestar.

I'm terrible at reading one book at a time and usually have 3-4 on my desk like this. I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure I just got into the habit when Harry Potter 4 or 5 came out while I was reading something else and never got out of it. I do the same thing with periodicals, too, usually juggling a copy of Space News, NatGeo, MaximumPC, and occasionally a copy of Soaring. It's not a mark of excellent reading ability or whatever; in fact, I'm pretty sure it makes me a slower reader, but a less bored one at least.

Was going to pickup Snow Crash from the library the other day to make more headway in that but realized that it's at another branch. Razz

Also, I don't recognize any of the books you guys are listing. Must not be old enough. Very Happy

I just got done reading "The five people you meet in heaven" and am about to start "My Gal Sunday" by Mary Higgans Clark

I've been doing a lot of crafting lately so not been reading much though the reading bug has begun biting my heels.

Read all of both the Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series. A bit disappointed in Bones Crossed, and still waiting for Silver Borne to come out in paperback.
