Is it just me, or is this "Cloudflare" being just a bit too aggressive?

I have to 'click through' the 'offline' page to get to any other place on this forum. Just a bit aggravating, to tell you the truth.

If by "Cloudflare" you're talking about internet issues, yes it's a problem tonight. There's something going wrong between the router my server talks to (20 floors away) and my server. CTC is looking into it.

Sorry.

The CloudFlare message seen today is basically letting you know that the site isn't responding, and is loading a copy from CloudFlare's cache. As Hikaru noted, there is a connectivity issue with the server, and is currently being investigated.

It affected the KWKAT server too. I was trying to do as show in my usual Thursday evening timeslot and my connection to the server kept dropping every few minutes. After about an hour of this I finally gave up.

kwkat.planetfurry.com is setup within CloudFlare the same way that www.planetfurry.com is (DNS, page caching, etc.). The KWKAT server is hosted in the same facility as Planetfurry, and both were affected by the ISP connectivity issues yesterday.

CloudFlare, in this instance anyways, was doing its job. It wasn't part of the outage.

I'm moving this thread to Site Problems due to relevance.
