Some of you may remember the Mystic Wolf others might not. Well I have brought it back and hopefully will be adding more stories about the bar.

I should tell you right now that if you get offended by the extreme language in Sam too bloody bad. However I seriously doubt that any further stories based in this world will have anywhere near that much foul language. Sam deals with a lot of teenagers and takes place about eight years before the rest of the stories so all the characters have had plenty of time to clean up their language.

So anyways please enjoy the Mystic Wolf's story Sam I hope to post future stories as time and other projects permit.

Thanks!

I think Iremember the previous version of this story.
It was great back then...

Now it's even better.

Been reading up on mythology?
(Can't remember the Thor and Sif incident, but then again, it has been a few years since the last time I read this story)

Wink

BTW: There's a bit of a 'typo' in the PDF.
The lat line of page 38 also shows up as the first line of page 39.

The Thor and Sif piece I put in as a joke, and as Mike said it wasn't in the original version as the original never made it this far. Wasn't even planned hen I first started the story.

As far as Thor forgetting his and Sif's anniversary I thought since Thor is sort of the God of blue collar workers, and it's stereotypical for blue collar guys to forget important things like anniversaries, and Viking Gods are fallible why not have Thor forget his. Plus it made Sam realize that when women mouth off to men they are not always going to beaten like in her old world.

Before I forget as the series continues and people get a better idea of what the Mystic Wolf itself is like I will open up the series for non-cannon fanfics if people wish to write them. I will not be using other people's characters as I'm considering a possibility of asking Mike to publish an anthology if and when I get enough of the stories written.

The other thing I wish to mention about any fanfics is that Sam herself is may be off limits as she is Patty's character and she doesn't want anyone but me writing her.

Okay since apparently some people like the Mystic Wolf series I have just finished burning the midnight oil to finish the first chapter of a story I've been dinking around with for the last few months. I just sent it to Mike a few minutes ago, quite literally.

So hopefully Mike will be able to have the first chapter up and posted by next weekend. It's short so he shouldn't have to much trouble.

Because of how short I'm going to try to keep the chapters I should, pray to the Gods on this one, be able to keep updating this story fairly regularly as long as I can keep the ideas flowing. I was able to knock out this first chapter in about three days. So if all works out I will hopefully be able to post a new chapter every other week, I'm not promising anything but I'm going to try.

So keep your eye out for She of the Honey Voice To give you a hint of what it's about I will say this. Everyone's favorite, giant of a bartender falls in love. Yes this will be sort of a romance, but it will have the twists and turns you'd expect considering where it's placed

This is the first I read about Mystic Wolf.

It leaves me a bit mystified. Since I have no background on Brisbane, I can't help but feel he is bit trigger-happy. It doesn't take much to set him off, yet he listens.
Intentional complexity? I'd think that his dealings with another dimension should make him careful?

I liked the shrink. 'Is love a difficult emotion for you'... grrrr!
Emotions just are, you can just as well ask if 'green is difficult'.

You wouldn't believe just how stupid shrinks can be, and even if they don't ask you a stupid question often times they're too dense to get the answer you give them. When I was in a partial inpatient setting they had me dealing with an absolute moron who couldn't understand the answers I was giving her. She was in a desperate need of a slap to the back of the head.

As far as Brisbane goes later on you get to see him in a completely different situation so I have fun playing around with him.

The first chapter of She of the Honey Voice is now posted. The second chapter now just needs to be edited and I am already working on the third so don't worry you'll be getting more.

I didn't know the average god would be afraid of a mere sword.

Whether or not a sword is dangerous for a god depends a lot on circumstances.
In fact, under the right circumstances, a twig can be just as deadly...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baldr

The gods may believe themselves invulnerable to the sword, and possibly are, but there's also the slight doubt hovering over it.
Besides, if they did try, and survived, they'd be banned... And that might just be a worse fate...
(Eternity is a long time. A horn filled with mead helps pass it...)
