I can't send any email through PF any more. My email proggy (Pegasus Mail) gives a "Peer refused connection" error when I try to send mail. I don't use the PF account very much at the moment, so I can't say how long this has been the case.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the Systems Block Policy, since I get a dynamic IP address from my ISP. Unless of course the whole address space of my ISP has been blocked. The IP address I see on my side is 62.46.6.65, I don't think that is routed though another layer of NAT at my ISP, but I could be wrong.

I can still receive email just fine and I can also log into the webmail, so my password is ok.

*BUMP*

Anybody there?

Has the login method for sending mail been changed or anything? I tried playing around with the settings in my mail proggy, but it didn't make any difference. It's difficult to debug this if you're not getting any useful error messages.

The site has recently been moved to another server from what i understand. don't know the whole story but maybe it gummed up the e-mail addresses. I haven't been able to get into mine for a while. eventually forgot the login.

My apologies, I didn't notice your messages until just now.

I'm looking into the problem right now.

Nameless, the email scanner config has been updated. It was using a DNS blacklist that included some dynamic addresses, and wasn't excluding messages that were sent using authenticated SMTP. Let me know if you're able to get your email sent now.

Asalis, PM me to have your account reset.

No, I'm still getting the error message. My IP address at the moment should be 62.46.7.42, maybe you can find it in a log.

I'm only seeing POP3 connections from that IP address, nothing for SMTP. I'm wondering if something upstream is blocking your connection...

PM me with the settings you're using to point to the SMTP server.
